Keynote Speaker, Fundraiser, Early Childhood Science Magnet School, Buffalo, New York
Vicki Stoecklin spoke to educators and business and community leaders about the importance of nature education at a fundraiser held for the outdoor classrooms at Buffalo Public School 90 on Sept. 20.  Her speech was “Preparing Today’s Children to Be Future Earth Stewards.”

NAYEC Featured Speaker, Atlanta, Georgia
Vicki Stoecklin is a featured speaker at the annual National Association for the Education of Young Children Conference and will discuss “Creating Environments that Sustain Children, Staff and our Planet: Understanding How the Green Building Movement Affects Young Children.” Her session will be from 12:20  to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11.  Vicki has invited Ania Shapiro, an architect from the General Services Administration, to present with her, as this agency is a leader in the development of child care centers that meet green building requirements.  We hope to see you there!
