More 2024 agritourism participation survey results
Here are the U-pick results from our 2024 nationwide agritourism
participation survey conducted on December 10-11, 2024.
Over half of U.S. households (52.4%) visited a farm for a U-pick activity
in 2024. That was down from the 2023 participation rate.
Apples continue to be the most popular U-pick activity, with nearly
one-quarter of households participating (23%), followed by strawberries,
with almost one-fifth (19%) participating. The newer option of U-pick
flowers attracted eight percent of households.
We'll be reporting more survey results in next month's issue.
